Here is my favorite beach on another side of busy part of he island. Nice snorkeling. So peaceful......

The weather wasn't great, so we didn't stay long. But the snorkeling looked amazing! We will definitely go back on a sunny day.

the beach was very dirty on the day we visited as was Aow Leuk. Much of the problem had been washed up from the sea on the east side.

The reef here was alive and had so much color. Fish were so pretty and swam really close to you like they were curious about you too. It was difficult to get to on a scooter on the dirt track but if you park at the top and walk down it would be ok.

Nice sandy beach, great snorkelling and fun place for cliff jumping. Road is now easily accessible by motorbike.

Ao Tanote is one of my favorite spots on Koh Tao. It's on the much quieter east side of the island and is very scenic. Stayed at Tanote at the end of July and this beach had amazing snorkelling and some nice places to eat and drink. Even where the coral is dead the number of fish is incredible! Like a big aquarium, a great place to stay or to visit on Koh Tao
