Easy to reach with a taxi ride, go in the morning because due to the palms there's not so much sun in the late afternoon
We saw 5 black tip reef sharks 40 meters from the beach. It was awesome and the water was crystal clear. Make sure you go the left side of the bay, as we saw the sharks there two days in a row.
This beach is just paradise! The sea is like stepping into a tropical fish tank! As soon as your ankle deep, you can see all the beautiful fish swimming around.
Snorkling is just simple amazing here. There are reefs either side & you dont have to go deep to see all the beautiful fish. They have everything here. We even...

do not miss the snorkling here - we loved Aow Leuk Bay by far on the entire island. Be careful on the dirt road getting to the beach, it's fine to do just need to take it slow! the water - PERFECT! looks like a screen saver every day! and the marine life..... IT'S THE BEST!
Very clear water with many fish and corals. The sand a bit rough and VERY hot. Take a taxi or if motorbike park on top before going down the very bad road.

Those using the beach seemed to care not about leaving their rubbish behind; which we witnessed. I...

We visited on a particularly windy day so there were quite high waves and quite a bit of debris washed up, but apparently this only happens when the wind is coming from a certain direction. Last time we visited it was calm and perfect for snorkelling.
Quite a steep access road, little bike couldn't manage hills on way back so...

Maybe we hit that beach on a bad day. The waves were high and made it hard for snorkeling. There was quite an amount of trash laying around. It is beautiful as most of Koh Tao but I likes other beaches more.
