Every proud Indian must visit this museum which is managed so well. You will find so many things of Gandhiji displayed here. One feels as if Gandhiji is still still living hear. You can also listen to his recorded voice and speeches. I enjoyed watching his specs, and so many belongings. My kids loved this museum and wish to visit... More

Although it was located elsewhere, its current location since the 1960s near his cremation place seems more fitting. The museum is composed of two floors and a small gift shop at ground floor. I truly enjoyed the modest tender loving care about this spot; there was a telephone which you could get and listen to his genuine voice, shows of... More

It is a very impressive recollection of the life of Gandhi. The life story is shown in photos, videos and puppets but above all TEXT! If you are someone that wants to take up all the knowledge you can spend hours here. We spend at least an hour here and I became very selective on what I read. It is... More

We were really pleased to have found the Gandhi Museum. It was very well presented and told the full life story of Gandhi and those close to him in a very easy to follow layout. Many of his own belongings were on show that gave a fascinating insight to his experiences. We would definitely recommend you go and make sure... More

Very nice exhibit tracking Gandhi's relationship with Nehru on the first floor. The negative reviews seem to want flashy interactive displays with lots of Gandhi artifacts. It turns out that Gandhi wasn't so into material possessions, so that kind of impacts the chances of having a huge collection. That being said, there was a pretty extensive collection. There was also... More

A moving and interesting place to visit. The multi media exhibit is on par, if not better, than multi media museum exhibits I've seen at home. Provides a great insight into Indian history and provides a great sense of purpose and peace.

A typical Indian governmental museum- very neglected and too costly for foreign tourist. Has some interesting items (especially the unique golden Buddha reliquary) but many rooms are closed for unknown reasons. I recommend a visit to the very interesting and free of charge Crafts Museum instead.

We didn't really aim to go here, just kind of stumble across it whilst wandering about, but decided to have a look. The second you enter, all the noises and craziness of the City just stops and you find yourself in an oasis of calm and peace. If anybody was ever in any kind of doubt to just how special... More

It´s very good. You can hear the voice of Gandhi, pictures of him, you can get in a train that takes you every place he has been. You can learn about his life, his religion, his faith, his philosophy. It´s an interactive museum. I love it. The fee it´s up to you. You can pay whatever you can, it´s for... More

This was a lovely place full of interesting information that perhaps is not so well known. Many personal things belonging to Gandhi like glasses and his day bed. He was of course a man with very few personal pocessions.
