There's actually nothing exciting about the shopping experience in Colaba. All the shops look the same and the quality of most product is average, at most. There are far better markets in Asia, and this market offers no experience or local soul at all. Don't even think about eating in one of the eateries around - the place is filthy.

You gotto go to Colaba causeway if you like junk jewellery, cheap fancy footwear, funky clothes and the works. Be ready to bargain a lot as the rates are often very high to make a good profit from tourists. If you love shopping and haggling, you will love this place.
