Another tourist attraction that yells for attenton and good up-keep. We visited this place 9 years back too, and recalled fond memories, but this time round, things weren't the same. It seemed that upkeep of the place has been compromised upon heavily.

This place is best known for its architecture and buildings. There is some good pictures and exhibits to document and show of the history of this Maharaja. Most things are in good shape and not run down.

A Must see palace if you are plannng your trip to Jaipur. I would say that ths is the only palace in Jaipur that is so much maintained. The king of this palace - Maharaja - ManSingh II is still alive. The designing on the walls are the beauty of this palace. This palace is not converted into museum. I... More

I actually enjoyed this far more than the review suggests - but to be fair it's no Louvre or London National Gallery. The art, textiles, paintings and weaponry put the palace into perspective and you should not miss the museum just for this reason.

This museum is located in the gorgeous City Palace of Jaipur and is kind of a poor cousin to it. It's like they thought a palace needs an additional attraction - put up some pictures and called it a museum. The collection has some value as a brief view of history, of course, but as a separate attraction, the museum... More

Do visit this museum to understand how Indian Kings used to lap in luxury in their times. Located conveniently in the city centre, it is easily accessible by all corners. Not only will you find artefacts dating ancient Indian history, you will also find a collection of International artefacts here. The most interesting
