An outdoor art gallery with sculptures in the garden. Sort of on the outskirts of Recife, but worth the visit. The on site restaurant was also good.

Unique place that has a lot of pieces of art in ceramic. The sinergy of the place is amazing and Brennand is an artist that used to be friend of Picasso. indescribable
The place is difficult to find but you'll be rewarded many times if you love arts..It was a revelation to me as I didn't expect to find anything new in the world of ceramics..But instead I was thrilled to enter the world of an artist with a sensitive soul and open mind...Magnificent, impressive, his imaginary creations touch your heart, reach...

A very elaborate display of modern art and ceramics by a world renowned Brazilian artist. May not be everyones taste, but the display and grounds are MOST impressive and worth a visit. Take the opportunity to have lunch or a snack at the on-site eatery - VERY good food and service.
This place at Recife is one of the most amazing I've been. It's an art gallery mixed with a park, with lots of art pieces from Brennand, a ceramist from Recife. Different, sometimes weird sculptures and small temples populate the place, where you can spend an afternoon of freash air and art. Also, there is the factory of Brennand tiles...

This is the place to go in Recife. The visitor will see amazing sculptures in a scenographic environment while listening to Gregorian chant. It should not be missed under any circumstance.
it is a perfect example how ONE artist, a bit Megalomanic, can create his own world but has used also his creative mind to restore a part of Brasil history, but please keep in mind that only a few miles away, normal Brasilians only earn $ 200,-- a MONTH today in 2012.!!
I hadd seen pictures of Mr. Brennand works but did not realise they were part of a whole. He soars with his sculptures than comdes back to earth with his paintings
It is more like a museum of modern art in pottery than a factory. Astonishingly fun. It is a little bit far from downtown but worth a visit.
Arrive early: when factory managers want to eat you won't find a table. I loved the atmosphere, food is OK, service on the slow side. This is the perfect restaurant for this "museum". And this is the Nr 1 place to go in Recife if you like art. Just go when it is quiet: you need to be able to...
