I went here alot when I was young and the wave pool can be dangerous on weekends when there are so many people in it. Just like Water Could try was dangerous when there are some with rafts and others are not required to have a raft, even though Michael Phelps could not survive these constant waves... This is a really nice waterpark, its the only nice one close to Birmingham. Its really neat and clean. I love the wave pool. The food is good but expensive as always. It's half off admission during the week which is really nice. I go here alot. I would highly recommend this water park to anyone.

You definitely want to plan to spend the entire day at Point Mallard Waterpark. Spend a few minutes looking at the Park's layout online, as it has 2 different large sections and you have to walk about 15 minutes to get from one section to the other. Wonderful location to relax with the family for the day! I visited the park over the summer before moving to decatur and loved it! They also have a very nice campground.
