Very peaceful spot and it is basically where many European residents were buried. Loved it as I'm a history kinda person but it doesn't give much shelter to those looking for a cooler environment. No air con here.

We could see Malacca from the hill, which is quite shady. Ruins of a church landscaped this hill, along with a few graveyards of Dutch people. It's a short walk and wouldn't take more than 1 hour to go around to finish everything.

You can see the ruins of St Paul's church at the top of the hill and you also get a good view of the town from up there. There is no lift or escalators and it is a bit of a climb getting up there, so brace yourself before going up there.

Old church that should be a place for reflection on those who passed away at the end of the world (from a 16th century European perspective that is) but has been turned into a tacky tourist site with lots of vendors selling tat and terrible buskers. Still worth visiting just try to block them out.

Now in ruins, only the facade and a few walls remain. The entrance is free and is busting at the seams with hawkers mostly selling junk. Takes about 10 mins to see.

It's not too far from Stadthuys or Fort Santiago. In the top, you will see the ruin of St. Paul Church. By dutch it's used as cemeteries. Inside the church you will see the remain St.Francis Xavier grief. His body has been moved to Goa, India.

Gives you the feeling of Little Macau - very mini version of what you get in Macau but still worth to walk up and sit under the tree and do nothing. Watch out for the family of monkeys which did not disturb me but then again, i had no food with me.

eventhough St Paul's Hill is quite high and take times to climb up, i still recommend travllers to climb up and have a look at St Paul's Church and the nice view of the Old Malacca City
