I agree with those above: a lesson from Choco's instructors makes all the difference! They'll make sure you get up, and their tips to improve are right on. If you have younger children, their first surf experience will be the highlight of their trip!

Choco, Marco, and Jose were all very friendly and eager to help us successfully learn how to surf. Even though I was learning with a group, Choco was good about giving us individual tips and suggestions. We had a great time!

Playa Samara is a great place to learn to surf, and the guys at Choco's are really helpful. I was pleasantly surprised by how easy they made it to stand up on a board. I would highly recommend taking surf lessons here.
