Wow, if you think your garden at home is going well, you should check out these gardens. 7 acres of tropical plants used to be a swamp, amazing job. The plants seem like they are on steroids, some of them are so huge. Meandering pathways lead into open spaces and other surprising little "rooms". I understand they are intending to... More

This is truely the Garden of Eden. Garden beds, lawns, scultures, pools and streams are just a few of the features found in this wonderful garden. For a small donation, you can explore the many acres of well kept gardens, Pace yourself, admire the floral blooms and exotic trees, quiet nooks and arbours, smell the foliage then take a drinks break... We were disappointed that when we arrived at the cafe 45 mins before closing time they said they were closed and were already counting their money so all we could do was walk through the gardens since we had already paid for that. It's only $4 and it's a reasonably kept tropical garden but nothing particularly spectacular. We came back... More

Had to visit here twice during our recent stay on Rarotonga- forgot the camera the first time! Only $4 donation (honour box) requested and stay as long as you like. March is a great time to go-- there were so many plants in flower. Everything was so green and the bright colours of the flowers were really spectacular. Beautifully maintained... More

It's only $4 (honor box at the entrance). Beautifully kept up. Can do a quick look through or easily spend hours! Perfect for those on special occasions looking for great photo opportunities. Huge variety of trees and flowers. Quite lovely. Tip: Watch out for the bees/wasps!! My mom got stung the first 5 minutes we were there :(

We visited this garden in the rain (Cyclone Gary effects) However the beauty of the gardens made up for being wet through. Luckily we were able to try their great cheese cake (advertised as world famous) before the lovely staff shut the shop thanks to 'Gary'. We would highly recommend it! Top marks to the gardeners (the one we met... More

Our whole family enjoyed our trip through the gardens, so many beautiful plants. We were there early afternoon and with the humidity from the plants it was very hot, so would recommend early in the day or late afternoon.
