A pleasant surprise on the community college campus. Much history both of the recent past and prior to the Russians and Americans. Well worth the time to visit
This is a small museum on the campus of the community college. It is largely a collection of artifacts that belonged to Alaskan residents Maxine and Jesse Whitney. There are collections of art, artifacts, and taxidermy. We truly enjoyed our few hours there. Don't miss it.
This is a great small museum. There is a lot of large animal mounts long with alot of scrimshawed Ivory and native items. It is small in size, but makes up for it in the quality of the displays.

Very nice little museum attached to the community college. Fascinating variety of native arts and stuffed Alaskan animals. Entrance is being renovated so should be more presentable soon.

Really good collection of trophy mammals of all kinds found in Alaska. Would be worth the money even if it wasn't free. Near Prince William Sound Community College on the back side of town, so you have to look for it.
