Very interesting experience for us French poeple! We were so scarred to touch et take snakes but we did it. We bear a real constrictor boa. All the visit was cool with a very good guide! An experience we should repeat, never be forgotten. If you pass by Plettenberg Bay you can't miss it ;)

i received a very warm welcome upon arriving. the guide was very talkative, and clearly loved snakes. I was solo, and arrived around the same time a couple. Me and half the couple were both snake lovers, and the other person had never touched a snake and wasn't quite sure. The guide seemed to tailor the 45 min tour to... More

This was a great experience and a great way to learn about local and exotic snakes. It's the perfect setting for snake lovers and even those that are scared of snakes, as the guides are very sensitive to the guests. They dispel common myths about snakes, and teach basic facts that make you realize that snakes are not as scary... More

Had a guided tour with the owner, Michael, who is so knowledgeable and informative. Learnt a lot about snakes and got to hold some, even rather large ones! He is very enthusiastic and could not be more helpful. As well as snakes there is a large rock lizard, pot bellied pig, crocodiles etc. we saw the cobras having a meal... More

What a great experience! Our guide was amazing, he had SO much knowledge about the snakes which he carried over in a entertaining and easy to understand way. What I especially loved about the whole experience is that they really want visitors to understand the snakes better and teach the visitors to respect instead of fear snakes. It's not just... More

We arrived just as the sanctuary was closing but we were allowed in and was given a guided, unrushed tour of the snakes. The guide was very knowledgeable about the snakes and made us feel welcome. We got to hold some snakes, and then were told to take our time looking around as they had to feed the snakes etc.... More

Cannot say I am a "snake" person however, ended up with a snake wrapped around my neck!! This was an extremely interesting visit as I learn't enough about some of the native South African snakes to take away any of the concerns that I had previously had

My group had Wilmor as a guide. He is really great with people, made a lot of jokes, told some cool stories, and gave us a lot of information about snakes. I can't remember it all, there was so much to learn! I spoke to the owners and they said they've had a few repeat visitors for the same reason... More
