Beautiful village, and the highlight - Zucchini restaurant! The food is delicious, and service is perfect.

Cheese, sweets, oysters, gems and more. Well worth a stop if you are passing on the N2 between George and Knysna.

We had breakfast at the Windmill cafe twice during the holiday. Great slides for the children and the food was very good. Generous portions. The birds were very irritating and the scooter bikes were broken - maybe the school holidays had taken their toll (bring your own bikes).

I stopped by Timberlake's wine shop, The Oak Barrel. Besides the good and well priced wine selection, the whole village had a great vibe, the sun was starting to set so the lighting was really nice, children from owners' shops were playing about , hey you could shoot a Robin Hood movie at that location! Great cakes, quality of coffee needs a little attention and a little on the pricey side. But a great place to unwind after a day at the beach.

Had lunch there. Looks liked a relaxed/disorginised/mother earth/ hippy place that needs to have the lawn moved and weeds removed. Acrobranch in the village is great entertainment for teh kids and valaue for money.
