This place is truly a marvel. Wonderful breathtaking views, and serene and tranquil. On a quiet day when the tons of para gliders are not there, take a good book and enjoy the peace, quiet and serenity. This is a paragliding hot spot though. Weirdly wonderful to see this beautiful Africa shaped ravine. Just for interest, two rivers meet in the middle one salt coming from the sea and one fresh water coming down from the mountain. There is two wonderful information ladies stationed to assist with any questions you might have. Definately worth the trip!
Although we couldn't exactly see the 'map'. The viewpoint gives an amazing view of two gorges either side of a forested area which could be seen as the southern tip of Africa! Just to the other side you can see the coastline, which is also pretty spectacular.
Well with the trip to see this spot, from every direction the area is laid out before you. We diverted here on our way to George and so glad that we did
Map of Africa offers great views of the joining rivers below and Wilderness to the South. The car guard? was very knowledgeable about the location and views
The view from the top is great. You see the map of Africa clearly. It is a beautiful area. Just to the other side you can see the coastline. Amazing. The paragliding also starts from this point.
