I loved walking along the mouth of the river, and catching a boat along the Estuary. We had an amazingly relaxed afternoon on a boat the Adventurer, very comfortable and an informative Captain. Lots of healthy fat hippos, crocs, and incredible Mangroves, white and black. Lots to learn about this incredible place. A definite for the exhausted business man.

We came here for the first time after another great visit to Ubizane & Hluhluwe with friends visiting from the UK - we booked the 1200 cruise with Advantage - directions are clear & there is easy parking right by the boat - there were very few taking the trip as it was the end of the season so we... The cruise was peaceful and the light beautiful. I expected that we would see more hippos, but the birds and flying fish at the inlet were great!

The Estuary cruise is a lovely way to start your holiday in st Lucia. I would recommend a sunset cruise, as you get stunning photo's of the sunset. The sunset cruise with Advantage Tours cost R170 for a two hour cruise. Drinks can be purchased on board. We were blessed to see a giant king fisher, two fish eagles, tons... More

Highly recommend the estuary boat tour - great opportunity to get close to Hippo and Crocodiles. Please be careful when exploring on foot - I disregarded the warning signs and realised how close I had come to being a croc's dinner when I did the boat cruise...lol

Saw families of hippos, different bird species and crocodiles. Good guide on the boat who got as near to the animals as possible so we could take lots of photos. The guide was very knowledgeable and gave an interesting insight on the amimal's habitat and lifestyle. Highly recommend this trip

St Lucia is an amazing place to visit if you like the "outdoor" type of holiday. Due to the vastness of the beaches you will never feel crowded. Nature surrounds you!

We went to cape vidal. It's a beautifull park. Do take the off-road detours and visit the hides and viewpoints. You will see the hypo's, kudu's moinkeys and lots of birds. If weather is nice, Cape vidal is a big beach for swimming. take your own drinks and food with you, since we saw no stalls or restaurants on the... More
