Don't be scared of the height, it's not at all bad and the revolving car means that everyone gets a share of the views. Stand next to the open part to get some great photos!
It was cool going up table mountain, but it was just so expensive for the cable car. You pay R200 just to get up there. I wasn't able to hike up, other wise I would never have paid so much money for it

The cableway takes you from the lower cable station to the upper station in a few minutes in a large cable car that takes up to about 60 people (be sure to position yourself near a window). The floor revolves, giving you a 360-degree view of Cape Town and the front face...

Very well maintained but can be on the more expensive side. Well worth the visit after all that is one of the many reasons we go to Cape Town.

It was an unforgettable experience. At station one you get into...

The cableway takes you from the car park to the top of the mountain in a ratating car with an open window. YOu can see all fantastic views of the bay and the mountain from the car. DOnt hold on the sides of the car though, as it rotates!
This was a FUN ride to the Top of Table Mountain - and well worth the long wait. The cableway turns 360 degrees so everyone can see from all angles. It highlights incredible views as well!!
Traveling to the top of Table Mountain was only overshadowed by the beauty of the surrounding views once you reach the top of the mountain. The ride was smooth, secure, and extremely pleasant. I thought it would be a little frightening, but the entire experience was just one awesome moment after another.
You definately need to buy your tickets on internet in advance, but still then you have to queue for at least an hour, an hour a half. Some people are queuing, others are not and just walk past you. There is nobody checking the queues, so people complain, and sometimes even get aggressive. The cable car ride itself was super! The views are...
