Betilu's review of this sight is so wonderfully comprehensive that I will only fill in the specifics that applied to my particular tour. I went on a Saturday at 11am and took the tour in Spanish. I believe the cost was 40 pesos, cash only. We were about 30 people, mostly older travellers including 1 lady in a wheelchair. The... More

Although the palacio has few floors, only lower is available for the tours. I wish it was cleaner, as we walked the floors were sticky probably from whiskey club, which has gatherings there. Don't miss this glimpse into Buenos Aires splendor of yesteryear. Palacio Paz will wow you with its grandilocuent architecture, the obsessive woodwork and its peaceful inner gardens. It is very close to the typical toursitic circuit, but usually bypassed. There are tours in english every other day.

We were able to get an English language tour of the palace and were fascinated with the beauty and opulence of a home built for a single family. There is no furniture remaining, but it is easy to imagine how the family lived in the lap of luxury. It is interesting to see where parts of the house were not... More
