See review for historic area, as they are as conjoined twins - fun pace to amble around, and the court house is dominant across the street. There are pubs, galleries, real estate offices etc etc and also plenty of friendly locals.

A couple of cheesy stores and a few bars intermixed with ice cream shops does not constitute a row to me. We are not bar hoppers so I was looking for living history. Made do with the self guided walking tour (although a guided one is available).

One block row of shops, ice cream/popcorn shop, some art galleries, and bars! Lots of people stand outside of bars, smoking on the sidewalks. NO outdoor seating for food service, though the park is across the street. If one likes this kind of scene then WHISKEY ROW is worth the visit.

Husband and I ventured out on a saturday night to whiskey row, We stopped in a few places, including the Palace, Prescott's oldest bar. it was like taking a step back in time. We finished the night at Matt's bar. There was no cover, a mixed crowd, live band and people having good ol fashioned fun. We had a great... More

We moved to Prescott about 4 months ago from NY and love Whiskey Row and the Courthouse Square! Regardless of the season, there is usually something going on ... live music, endless art, breathtaking Christmas decorations, cool stores of all sorts, restaurants for all tastes and budgets and of course the saloons! We go down there at least once a... More

This is an old-time version of a strip-mall! Saloons, Restaurants and shops line the street. The historic feel is well preserved, as are all the buildings. Each stop is a step back in time! Great place to mosey around!

Prescott (including the Hampton Inn in Prescott Valley) was great for a short road trip from Phoenix. The historical downtown is charming and very interesting. The wild-west atmosphere is enjoyable along with the massive courthouse and park in the center. Shopping along the art gallery, restaurant street was fun but very cool. The interior mall sojourn was leisurely and fruitful... More
