The Chapel of the Holy Cross is a very unique, small chapel. Although I am not a religious person, I could appreciate the spirituality of the space. It is a very beautiful chapel, very simple. Rather than the grandness of traditional chapels, this one uses the scenery as the focus. Although we are typically hikers, we only had an afternoon... More

This is a must see if you are in the Sedona area. It is a beautiful chapel! You can drive to it, so it isn't a hike.

Great place to start your trip to Sedona, amazing views and a nice walk up to the top. Check out the sprawling house that was recently built below the church for a jolt. It makes you appreciate the time and attention spent on the design and construction of the church.

This gem is a very spiritual place, created long before Sedona became known for such a thing. The Catholic Church has done an excellent job allowing everyone access to such a holy and special place. Sit and drink in the Holy Spirit, and relish the beauty of God's creation. Parking can be a bit of a challenge during the season,... More

The view from the road presented a very imposing church but once you're inside you realize how cozy it is. The gift shop was amazing and offered a great selection of Catholic and religious items. Good parking and not so crowded. Loved the blooming cactus on the walk up.

Chapel is built into the red rocks with wonderful scenic overlooks--parking lot to chapel can be a rather long trek on a hot day so be prepared although a motarized cart with driver is available to take you to the top.In the small Chapel you can light real candles and take as much time as you like to pray and... Thankfully, we were able to get a parking spot right near the chapel so we didn't have to walk very far. Cute sign with the flowers that read "Don't pick us as we are smiling at God". Other cute signs and historic signs as well. The view from the chapel was breathtaking. Definite "must see" for Sedona visitors.

Great location for the church. I'm not a religious person but liked it very much. The church looks very humble surrounded by the unbelievable red rocks. The church is all glass!
