So beautiful and unique. Of course, this is just one of many beautiful formations, but this one is very unique.

The Bell Rock/Courthouse Loop is a very popular, easy/moderate hike. The footing is OK but supportive hiking shoes are recommended. The views are spectacular.

Great hike for all ages. Trail is well marked and easy to follow. Cyclists share the trail in some areas. Courthouse loop is available from Bell Rock and not to be missed. Lots of beauty and solitude along the way. Great photo opportunities!

Since renovating the roads and approaches only access is a mostly flat and even trailhead--bring water and be prepared for a long hike before actually in a position to climb. Scenic trail though with numerous photo ops

Great hike but it's pretty steep. We loved it. The rock is so perfectly shaped, it really looks like a bell! It's better to go early in the morning to avoid the heat and crowds (because everybody loves it)!

My entire family (my husband and I in our 60s with our late 20s daughters) hiked 3/4th of the way up bell rock and it was even doable for my asthmatic self. Loved the views. The ledges were a bit narrow and when the wind blew it felt like it could blow you off the mountain. Felt a real accomplishment... More

Most visitors do not venture very far into this area. We spent about 3 hours hiking around and had an amazing afternoon with unbelievable vistas. Spend some time and you will be well rewarded.

You can see Bell Rock as soon as you enter Sedona from Rt 179 in Oak Creek. It's a sight to behold. Parking is easy in the lot at the base, and if you can't face the climb, there are trails to walk around the Rock. A popular place for painters to set up their easels and express creativity.

Don't park in the first lot for Bell Rock...go to the lot closest to Sedona...the walk to the rock is shorter. The climb up the rock is a little bit of a challenge and after getting at least half way up the rock, we decided that the rest of the climb was more than we were capable of doing. (We... More

Easy trail and spectacular Views! There is nearby parking convenient to the start of the trail. We took the northern trail and the lot is approximately 3.6 miles south on Route 179 after leaving rte 89A in Sedona.
