This is a neat little museum housed in an old farmstead. It is not funded by any government agency, staffed entirely by volunteers, and the $5 entry fee is well worth it. Lots of old items that were used by the farmers and ranchers in the local area, and the old tractors and fire truck are rare. This is a... More

Visited again after three years and enjoyed the visit as much as the first. Well staffed and documented and still very interesting. New exhibits made the time enjoyable and fun. Will return in a few more to see what's new.

We were delighted to visit here on the first day of our week in Sedona. We had hoped that a local museum like this would introduce us to Sedona, and we were not disappointed. We did not use the audio devices for our tour, and we meandered thoughtfully through the exhibits. We did not experience ambient noise or conversation that... More

Well worth stopping at this very interesting museum. My husband and I did not take the audio tour because we like to spend a lot of time thoroughly reading all the information that is offered. Unfortunately, it was very difficult to concentrate and absorb all the written history in the first main room, because the volunteers at the desk there... More

Great local history, they do many events, but I found the holiday celebration the best. Got to make corn husk dolls, she the apple sorter in action, great music and food.

A great deal of work has been put into this heritage museum; and it is certainly worth your time. It is a very good place to learn about the early settlers of Sedona. There are many personal effects on display. You can take a audiotape tour and it is very interesting and give you much information.

This is a good place to learn about the early settlers of Sedona and how they adapted to the valley. Lots of interesting personal effects on display as well as agricultural tools and information on farming techniques. Admission is $5, seven with audiotape. We spent about an hour here.

What a hidden gem. If we had more time, hiking in the area would have been fun too. Such nice docents. Such a great history of the area and the families that lived there. There is a display that gives you the history of movie making in the area too.

The Museum is operated by a non-for-profit and located in a former farm. It has a limited amount of Western memorabilia, mainly history of the family who lived there and other local people. The outside buildings, we are told, are original, but represent little photographic interest. The modest admission charge is worth it, if nothing else, for preserving our historical... More
