A pleasant drive anytime! The historic Malpais Stone clubhouse is small, yet a great place to catch a playoff and cheeseburger after 18 holes. One of the most senic first tees I have ever had the pleasure of cranking one out there on!! There is no break at 9, you play 18 straight thru. Lots of long par 4s and... More

We decided on going golfing during a weekend trip to flagstaff and this was by far the best deal in the area. We got a Good deal for starting the course after 2 o'clock. I am not a golfer in any sense of the word but it still was tons of fun. There are some pretty hard holes but it... More

I golfed the course in mid summer with some friends from Phoenix. What a great day! We were there in August. While it's 115 in the valley, it's cool and breezy up at Elephant Rock. The course runs through the tall pines, up and down hills with a surprisingly large amount water and beautiful grass fairways. The course is narrow,... More

Played here with my husband and five other couples as part of a golf getaway. It's a public course, but very well maintained. They have a nice little golf shop and "club house", offering beverages and a somewhat limited menu. The course is in a beautiful setting, with ponds, tall pine trees, and mountain views. The fee to play was... More

This was a very well maintained golf course, from the tee boxes, fairways, to the greens. Nothing was damaged from the heat or play like I've seen at other courses. Loved having the mountains in the background! Just beautiful to take in. I expected to have more holes with elevation changes, but only the last three holes do that. The... More

After doing all the touristy things in Northern Arizona - Grand Canyon, Sedona (jeep tour), white water rafting, etc., my husband and I planned an 'off day' near the end of our vacation week. Having seen the signs for a golf course in Williams, AZ, where we were staying (and having brought our clubs, just in case), we called the... More

A beautiful traditional Gary Panks course in Williams AZ. This can't be missed. If you enjoy golf, just drop what you doing and get immediately to this course. Great condition. Some of the holes seem simple but don't let it fool you. The greens were in perfect condition but very tricky. The scenery can hypnotize you. It seems to start... More

18 holes in a beautiful setting. About half of the holes are surrounded by ponderosa pine trees, and the remaining holes are in a open meadow. The fairways were in great shape and the greens were even better. This course is friendly with wide fairways and not a lot of trouble. Only two par 3 holes go over water. The... More
