The statue itself is quite majestic, and definitely worth the visit, especially on a beautiful day. It is, however, just a statue.

The statue has been repaired a few times, and that is evident, but still a lovely piece of the landscape. If you are somehow not moved by the statue, the lookout over the valley is stunning. Daydreaming about it makes me want to take a little trip up there today. I just may.

My husband and I have been to Rio and we have seen the Christ statue there, but this one is absolutely worth the trip. There is something special about this place.

A must see if you are in Eureka Springs. The face and hands are so life like. They are working hard to raise the money to restore this beautiful statue. I hope they are able to raise the needed funds.

This statue is MASSIVE! When you pull up and go stand by his feet, the base of the statue is the size of my living room! and he is I believe 6-7 stories tall. It has his story posted also. And a lower viewing area to see him from also. Peaceful area.
