It is unique! and quite a hike, for the unprepared... but well worth the effort. I actually went 3 times with different friends, and down once to the bottom, following those incredible guys who carry the sulphur back up, then to the Parking... The unsung Heros.

Started hiking at 12.30am and it took us 3 hours to the top. We could see the blue fire but it was from a distance. This is an experience not to be missed. The views, the incredible activity, the sulphur carriers and the smell of the Volcano are all quite incredible...I'd do it again...

While it is true that the way up is not spectacular, on arrival at the top lets you hit. A shocking volcano with all the locals going down the crater to collect the sulfur and then sell to the factories around. You will be transported to a fantasy world.
