it very nice to stroll around petra by night but it's almost impossible. very expenssive in rder to walk by night and get a very short concert. preffered walking around within the park by night. nice as first preview of Petra.

The candles were beautiful and the tea they served at the beginning was nice but the show was not that spectacular. The actual structures in Petra were more amazing.

Petra by night is just magical. I can certainly recommend this as the best introduction to Petra, if your arrival coincides with one of the evenings that it is offered. If not, try it anyway. I am sure you will not be disappointed.

I was really disappointed in this experience. It is not worth the money. The lighting was very poor and I was expecting more lighting on the treasury. Interesting following the candle lit path through the Siq to arrive at the Treasury. Worth it to be there as soon as the gates open to be able to get to the Treasury before all the people arrive, otherwise it's too crowded and you can't see most of the candles and they don't light up the Treasury very well so... Don't spend the seventeen dollars. Even though there was a full moon and the paths were light up with candles which created a romantic atmosphere, the Treasury was not lit up enough and the performance was poor.
