Rather an ignominious exterior but don't let that fool you. A ghouls delight, or for those more normal visitors - really hideous. Glad we went but the matter of fact way the exhibits were labelled left nothing to the imagination and appalled and amazed in equal proportion. A hellish museum in a heavenly village.

Highly enlightening. The only thing is that three months later I still find the memories of the methods of torture quite harrowing. A real eye opener

Nothing specifically to do with the inquisition, just a museum of torture exhibits, exactly the same as the one we visited in Prague in March. A shame as I'd have liked to have learned more about the inquisition itself.

This was a rather interesting site and was overall a real learning experience. I guessed I had thought up most of the way people could be tortured, but the Inquisitors had many ideas that were much more imaginitive than I. Needless to say, this museum is not for kids, though I did see a few there.

Unique, don't think I've ever seen anything like this before. A collection of torture equipment over the ages (not just The Inquisition), and good explanations of it's use (why/how/when) Well worth a visit, and the entrance fee was reasonable too. Maybe not for the kids, tho !
