Not sure if I put down the correct date, but swimming at Lake Anza is always a fun time. Again, I believe that it's only open during late spring until very early fall.
Nice grassy expanse perfect for a picnic. Stay around the perimeter on a sunny day. Nearby bathrooms and concession stand too. Parking runs out quickly, so get there early.
Years ago we would rent boats and peddle around for hours. Legs were much younger then.
