My wife and I stayed overnight at DWHS and of course had to do the mud ......"the works". I was totally apprehensive but after reading reviews and encouraged by the wife, I was willing. The mud is like nothing other! Imagine a hot steamy oatmeal bath, thick and lumpy....then a face mask and cucumbers over the eyes. Very different for... More

My wife and a group of her friends visited for a spa day for a bachelorette party and had a great experience. Clean, relaxing, and a care-free time! Mark Wilkinson and his staff were very helpful in making this a great relaxing day!

Perfectly preserved resort, looking as though it was pulled out of 1950s Palm Springs! Had a wonderful, incredibly relaxing time at first mud bath. Will definitely return for more!

I visited on Valentines Day with my husband and enjoyed the experience. Although our reservation for the afternoon was initially lost, they were able to accommodate us a couple of hours later. If you are looking for a fancy spa this is not the place. As stated in some other reviews, it is a bath house. I tried "the works"... More

I recently went to Dr. Wilkinson's for "the works" (mud bath, mineral bath, and steam) with a massage. The facility is more along the lines of a bath house than a traditional spa, which I was prepared for after reading reviews. The mud bath itself is an interesting sensation- hot, buoyant, and viscous. My skin felt great afterwards but the... More

Loved "The Works" which includes mud bath, whirlpool bath, steam, blanket wrap and massage. It is two hours of bliss! You will be so relaxed by the time you are finished you will want to take a nap. The treatment uses Calistoga's volcanic ash combined with the geothermal hot springs on the property it is excellent for detoxing and feeling... More

Four of us went for our birthday celebrations. We were initially hesitant about which mud bath to try but finally settled on this one as the most authentic of those described. It was authentic. We were neck deep in pure mud. You are in your own tub of mud so it is not a communal experience. Then we showered and... More

I traveled from Indiana for 3 days in Napa. A new experience like a mud bath sounds cool. I called to make reservations for the 4 of us, the night before. The gentleman I talked with suggested we not reserve - as it would be non-refundable since less than 72 hours - and he indicated we could just show up... More

I was taken here for my birthday by 4 girlfriends. We each had a great, and I mean great, massage. Everyone was thrilled with the care and we all felt fantastic afterwards. It is a bit funky, but we were down with that.
