We've toured the Castle twice. Each time the Castle is the best part of the visit, The accomplishment and story of how it was built is remarkable for any time period. The items in the gift shop and the wine aren't as impressive as the Castle.

Our group of four were visiting San Fran for 5 days, and one had a family member that lives not far from Napa - so they offered to take us into Napa and tour a few wineries. This was the first stop. What an incredible environment. We had a perfect sunny day, the views of the hills was great, and...

This should definitely be on your list of must-do's. The guided tour is worth the price as you see all of the amazing castle, have a barrel tasting as well as the wine tastings. Best to make a reservation. I loved this place!
If you're only going to tour one winery in the Napa Valley, this is the one Linda and I recommend. What an remarkable place!
A painstakingly constructed Tuscan castle, authentic as it could possibly be, the Castello is simply a gorgeous edifice that must be seen. Towers and battlements with flags and pennants flying, hand hewn rock walls, the Great...

This place was a top priority for our visit to Napa Valley. The property is amazing -- the owner is committed to authenticity and it showed. Too bad our experience was marred by a couple of service issues.
We went early (around noon) and was able to secure two spots for the 12:20 pm tour. I went to the ladies...

This is my most favorite winery in Napa! Overall, their wines are superb. I especially like their dessert wines- Fantasia and Il Raggio del Sole. The castle is a good photo opp especially for visiting guests because of the castle :) Must see and must taste wine!
Having designed and built my own two homes and toured several times in Italy, I was totally impressed with the small details created by the owner. Rather than building a perfect castle te effort was done to make it look old world by making it look like windows and doors had been filled in many years after the original was...

Touring the Amorosa castle was like a trip back in time. Wandering through the wine vaults was a thrill. The barrel tasting was well presented and provided a good lesson in how wine is monitored during the aging process. The tour guide was knowledgeable and generous tastings were offered.
What a fantastic place to visit, full of old world charm yet only a recent structure.. The staff are very friendly and the wine is off the charts.. I am not a white wine drinker yet for me to buy a bottle of Pinot Grigio it had to be good.. Would love to go back next time I'm in that...

Tour was interesting, obvious this guy has too much money on his hands to create this "Disney" like experience. We paid $33.00 each for the tour and from the very minute our guide showed up he pushed the wine club...it felt like he was trying to sell us a time share. Wine was ok not great...the guide spoiled the experience...
