The best $15 you can spend in Southern California, right on the bay and close to downtown. Last minute openings for singles easily made with a call to the pro shop. It was an easy drive from the hotel across the bridge.
We just returned from a golfing trip to Coronado Island, CA and while there played at the Coronado Municipal Golf Course. It was such a fun course and the location is splendid --overlooking the ocean on several of the holes. The staff was professional and friendly and the Hole #19 drinks were welcomed. In order to make advance tee times,...

This is just not a good place for dinner. It's $18 per person before drinks for average food and only maybe 6 items to choose from. It's horrid, cheap hotel ballroom linens and tables and chairs. Skip this. Smells bad.
Have wanted to play this course for a while and it was on my radar when we booked the family vacation. Called Monday at 9:00 AM and got a 12:20 tee time for the following Wednesday. $30 per player (three of us) was a steal. A perfect weather day for golf and the course and staff delivered in spades. Tee...

My husband and I played this course and loved the beautiful setting on the water. The course was fairly flat but had some interesting holes. You hit off of mats at the driving range. If you are a woman golfer, though, be aware that the most forward tees play over 5,700 yards! They have signs at the course encouraging you...

This is such a great venue and has been for years. I don't understand why they can't get a better chef or owner for this great location. The food has gone way down hill; it is very bland and unappealing. So many people like to go to the golf course clubhouse...its a huge disappointment they can't do better. They need...

This is a gem. Not too expensive, not too difficult to get to, but challenging golf. It gets a lot of play but the course is well managed and in fairly good shape. Not sure what the winter does to it, but it is well laid out and fun.
This place is cheap and hence it attracts a lot of play. They allow more than four to play in a group which is crazy. Fun to play if you don't mind a 5+ hour round.
With the bay out of bounds and Gloriour homes on the other it is too nice to consider it just a municipal golf course. Well maintained and worth a round of your time.
