I did some severe checking before coming to Desert Hot springs, as some of the hot springs can ask for a $50 day use fee and up. There are no natural or public springs. This place is only $7 and free if you schedule a spa service $30 and up. I did a manicure and was pleasantly surprised to find... More

Have gone three times to the restaurant with friends who go there regularly. Food was good and the price are right. However, the place needs fixing up. The benches have tares and the walls could stand some new paint. The pools and spa do not hold a candle to the competition around them

It's just a beautiful place to visit! Love their pools. Their bathroom facilities are extremly clean & nicely decorated! We love their cold drinking water with lemon, and it is accessable in the hot day ;-). Beautiful landscape & helpful staff members!

Such a steal...love the spas and the restaurant has a killer baked potato and salad lunch for $5...yum. For $10 weekdays you can have a fab day in the sun and shade

I only went inside and saw enough from the restaurant... Stopped in for lunch here, I will say that the food (turkey burger and salad), were decent and actually very nicely priced at only $6.95. But, the rest is pretty mediocre. Outside, fat, sloth-like trashy people with stupid snake tattoos and mullets veg and smoke. Real nice around kids for... More

Wonderful healing waters. Several pools at different temperatures. Cheap day rates for soaking only. Better on weekdays when locals, not tourists are there. Motel is decent and reasonable but not noteworthy.

I went to desert hot springs city to enjoy soaking in the geo thermal healing mineral pools that every hotel resort in the ity boasts... What a scam! The pools are not fresh bubbling up from ground, they are Absolutely filled with swimming pool amounts of chlorine, you know the same stuff I purchased a 400$ filter to keep it... More

We didn't have high expectations of the spa however we were pleasantly surprised. The toilets were clean, the pools were really nice and there were plenty of lounges available poolside. We thought the $7 entry fee was very reasonable. We are already planning to go back!

My husband and I decided to run away from home for a night. Rather than going to Palm Springs (as we usually do), we opted for the Desert Hot Springs Hotel and Spa. Last minute reservations were not a problem. Location was easy to get to, although driving through the town seemed to place us in the 60s'. Check in... More

i was introduced to this place by Huell Howser's California's Gold and usually love the day trip ideas i get from that PBS show. but dang Huell! this wasn't one of them. dirty, no filthy room and pool area. food on the chairs and deck cigarette butts and ashes. really? a woman came out of a second room floor dragging...
