Great museum with lots of logging history. Fascinating. I spent over 2 hours in this old victorian that's been converted to a museum. A must see if in Fort Bragg.

The guest House Museum is located in downtown Fort Bragg. The house was build in the 1850's during the formation of the community. The fellow running the welcome desk was very nice, and gave us an overview of the history of the house. There was so much to see, from a display of vintage Brownie cameras to the many, many photographs of the logging culture of the early 20th century. A great introduction to the history of Ft. Bragg.

Lots of history about the Mendocino/Ft. Bragg area. Lumber and logging. How the area was settled and developed. Very interesting photographs. Beautiful old home with exquisite, hand crafted details. Outside the museum is a "slice" from a 1,000 year old redwood tree. It is astonishing.
