The spa and staff are very nice however they do not have any supplies available after you get a massage and take a shower. There was no deodorant, hair supplies or toiletries, when asked the front desk told me that they must have used up the deodorant earlier in the day. Well, how can a spa that charges for the... More

Had a 1/2 hour massage arranged before hand but knew that TATE was special as soon as he started so extended it to 1 hour. See him for whatever ails you or if you just want a super deep tissue massage. They will pick you up and return you to your hotel - can't beat that service.

Overpriced spa with a lot of amenities. Unfortunately, what they don't tell you when you arrive is that if you attempt to "enjoy the amenities" before your spa appointment you may end up losing some of the time allotted for your appointment. Given that sessions are not even an hour, but only 50 minutes, your appt can get quite short... More

This is a little gem on La Jolla Boulevard just before Nautilus going south. At Nautilus, turn left and make the first turn into an alley and you're there. Ask for Shinaz, she's the best facialist I've ever found. They're pricey, but not overly so. And there are deals on line. sksanctuary.com. They have just about every service imaginable except... Pleasant, friendly staff and nice massages and mani-pedi. It is in a beautiful old refurb'd building. It is not an over-the-top high end hotel spa but it was a really relaxing and pleasant experience and was fairly priced unlike the hotel spas.

I was in La Jolla on business and decided to take a break and head to a spa. The hotel recommend this place. The wait area is uncomfortable with only one chair not in the sun and the outside sitting area overlooking the parking lot. My Cocktails Anyone body scrub ($135) was very nice. It was relaxing and felt wonderful... More

I love a good massage and it's very rare to find one that is perfect in every way, but I found it here. My husband and I arrived a little early, so they asked if they could order us anything from one of the local restaurants- we were hungry and after a drive, didn't want to go anywhere else, so... What a treat to visit SK Sanctuary Spa during a girl's trip to La Jolla. The spa is beautiful as well as immaculate. Spa staff provided excellent customer service. I'm sure we'll return for manis, pedis and other spa services. A+!

My boyfriend and I were in La Jolla for a wedding recently. Since we do not get away very often alone, we decided to have a couple massage. I had read mixed reviews about this establishment, but they offered a very competitive rate for this service so we decided to try it. We were very pleased! Beautiful building, very clean,... More

This is the first spa I went to upon moving to La Jolla. I received a gift from the owner and I promise that it is a hidden oasis and I continued to go back. I am actually going back this week before moving!! They have EXCELLENT service and a GORGEOUS layout. High end skin care products, great staff.....ask for... More
