While staying at the La Quinta resort, we heard about the kids golf program at the Mountain Course. My husband and son went two days in a row and loved it. Price was reasonable and included a cart. My eleven year old son enjoyed so much that he took private lessons on the second day. This was his first time... More

Beautiful Vistas. Great shape, lighting fast greens. Have to try the foot long hoot dog fed three guys.

The Mountain Course is a decent tract, but it is pretty boring until about the 14th hole. Fairways weren't in the best of shape, typical for a public course perhaps. All in all, we felt it was overpriced for the quality. There are more courses around the area that provide a better value.

Forced by a massive line at Twenty 6 to look for another option for breakfast we headed out to the club house at the nearby Mountain Course. Quick service, good food, a decent price (I assume they have to do this since they want to attract locals to golf). A great option for breakfast or lunch if you are staying... More

The back nine is simply one of the greatest golfing experiences of my life. After you get through the first hole the course opens up and is something to behold. Fire ants in the dormant tall grass rough. I never found them because I was always three fairways over.

My husband played this course during a recent stay at the La Quinta Resort and despite the great reviews, he wasn't overly impressed. To be fair, he is an avid golfer and former PGA pro, so his standards might be higher than others. His main issue was that the course was extremely understaffed and the golfers were so stacked up... Great course located within walking distance to La Quinta Resort and Club. This is one course where the Humana Tournament is played each year.

A fantastic course with stunning scenery. Disappointing that clubhouse does not have an area for sitting outside to admire the mountain views with a post-golf beer. The ladies locker rooms are a misnomer - no lockers and nowhere to change, only toilets and showers. The doors on the toilets are designed for short ladies. At 5'10" my head was above... More

This course is fun and offers a challenge. Beautiful elevated tee boxes. Challenging fairways and of course you want to pick a tee time early in the summer. I loved this course
