The mall is big enough to have nearly all trademarks you are looking for. Especially for sportswear (nike,...). The prices are ok and much better compared to the Stanford mall. some shops have special offers, look for that!
The stores in this mall tend to be the stores most people buy things from, as opposed to Santana Row where you mostly look. The Great mall seems to have good occupancy too, most of the places are occupied,. It can get busy on the weekends, especially around holidays like Christmas and Black Friday, but is manageable. My favorite stores...

During the weekday late afternoon I looked in mostly all stores and seen discount prices on a few items. The place was so packed on the weekend and no parking, cars waited in line from the surrounding streets. For what was there, I just didn't get it. Maybe it was a good place to hang out, bragging rights to say...

Pros - Many shops and it is indoors; on rainy days, you're well protected. Arrive early since parking can be a hassle...mid-afternoon, it's a pain just getting into the parking lot. Know your prices. This is an average outlet where you find deals. The best part is the A&F outlet store that you don't see very often in the US.
Well worth a visit - huge indoor outlet Mall, closer to SF for us than the other outlets that have a good amount of shops i.e. Gilroy (approx 145 shops) and Vacaville (approx 120 shops) - still went to them too - well can never shop too much!!!!!!
This place is a one-stop-shop for all my shopping needs. You will find almost everything you need right from clothes, shoes, perfume, etc. They have a cool food-court that has good food. Its a shopping day-out :-)
The Silicon Valley full with companies. If you come for business you can benefit from the Hilton Corporation Milpitas Hilton Garden inn, located in a central area , two minutes from the main road. There is also a fitness center and pool. Not cheap (over $ 200) July night - without breakfast (more than 14-15 dollars per person). If you...
