Arriving at DAOU Vineyards in Paso Robles, California was filled with anticipation as a friend in our Knights of the Vine Wine organization highly recommended it. They couldn't have been more spot-on as it's truly a paradise found for wine enthusiasts. From the moment you walk in you know you've happened on more than just another winery- it's a total... More

Make Daou your last stop. You will be glad you did. Bring some food and spend an hour or more. They serve food as well. Enjoy!

This is a very nice winery at a spectacular location. The building and grounds are a good match to its location. It is definitely worth the drive to get to this winery. There are some narrow roads and driveways to get to this location. There is a charge for the tasting, but considering the location and buildings it is worth... More

Many people told us that a visit to Daou is a must if you're up in Paso and we have to agree 100 percent! The views and the grounds are spectacular and the wines tasty! The wines are a little pricey (more of what you would expect to see in Napa), but it didn't stop us from purchasing 4 bottles... More

The wines are good and the servers attentive. The views are wonderful. Don't miss this place. The winery is owned by two brothers and one came out to say hello. That made us feel welcome.

Went there for wine festival and its a beautiful place! My only negative comment would be the pricey appetizers that were less than good. But the wine and views were great!!!!

This new tasting building was far and away the most spectacular in the area. You will have 360 degree views from the condos to be built on the ridge line behind the main building but the views from the main building and gardens are sweet. Tables and chairs placed strategically around the newish gardens and along the cliff side allow... More

As you drive up to the gates you realize Heaven must look just like this. If you are lucky enought to spot two handsome brothers (aka wine angels) they would be Daniel and George Daou. This is their vision and dream come true. When Bacchus a.k.a. Dionysus the god of the grape harvest, winemaking and wine in Greek Mythology created... More

As others have mentioned, this place has stunning views and a spectacular tasting room, along with outdoor seating. While the views are great, the wine doesn't take a back seat to the views. They are very special too. I had my first amazing glass of Daou wines at Thomas Hill Organics (go there too, great food), one called Chemin de... More
