This is a group of buildings and a small farm that were the homestead of the founder of the city of Pismo Beach. It's totally out of the way near a new subdivision, and you have to deliberately search for it. Unless they are running a tour (find the website online), there is not much to do but walk down...

I would say if you are interested in history or love old homes, you should go. There was an ice cream social that I took my family, the little ones were bored. I love the pictures in the homes that show Pismo's past. You can't see much of the homes but what you can is see is pretty cool.
It's great to go and visit - if you can go when it's open. They've been working on this site for the past 15 years +, and since I was a kid I'd go out here to spend a little time. It's still not done and the historical homes are fenced off.
