Played this course with a friend. It is situated the course takes in the ravines and is up and down most of the holes. Makes for some fantastic shots and long drives. The course was in excellent shape with greens tricky. Had a great time. First nine ravines and second nine much flatter. fees were great at twilight. Good Golf... More

The course ( West-South) was in mostly good shape. Tees OK, fairways good, greens OK ( but really hard & very slow!) Staff sucked! They were much more interested in each other than in the players ( i.e. - cart guy / starter ) After waiting for him to finish talking to buddies, asked about starter. Only to be snapped... More

This is our second time at Rancho Las Palmas. The hotel is lovely and we were booked into the room we asked for. Rooms are very well appointed and the bed is very comfortable. The main area by the adult pool is gorgeous. There is a variety of seating and it is all plush and comfy. As always, we were... More

The maintanence of this golf course is exceptional. The various nine holes are challenging but not frustratiinly difficult. There are plenty of sand bunkers as well as water hazards to add to the experience and a lot of hills and valleys. Overall a pleasant outing for a 15 handicap.

I found myself battling snakes on the third tee, then I was nearly run over by Nut-Job grounds keeper. After a errant shot into the rough I found my ball nestled between discarded auto parts.. Finally, after a good approach shot on the 12 green a crow (raven?) Took flight with my ball, never to seen again!

Yes you can score well here but there are some challenging holes as well. Not well marked for yardage and the greens are a bit slow for a championship course. One of the 9's has a 647 yd par 5 and a 235 yard par 3....nice holes!

We felt this was overpriced at $79 for the quality of the course. There are better courses for the same money. The staff both inside and outside were very friendly, however, we only saw a marshal once, and that was on the second hole. It would have been nice if he had shown up here and there because one group... More

Course was fun. Tighter than normal. Nervous about a wayward shot hitting the condos that were situated right to the fairways. Little room for error. Conditions were great though. Greens firm and the Fairways were in good shape. Hazards are very shallow and need some sand.

We did a site visit for a conference the previous year, and out of three properties, chose this one based on the food, meeting space and value for attendees. Well, when the time came for the event, nothing was as promised in the contract. The food was not good, we didn't the meeting rooms we were promised, and "service" was... More

We were able to get a discount tee time. Course very well maintained, with some interesting hole layouts. Staff very friendly, and we had a very enjoyable morning round there. This course is very well protected from the winds which can come up at other courses.
