We went here as part of the wine train package. It was mind blowing how much earth science goes into wine making. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and explained everything's process. You could truly tell he knew what he was talking about and not just reading off a card. Very friendly place with a cool history to it. More

The wine tasting experience is fairly basic however you do get a good selection of wines to try. I found one tasting session between two was adequate (especially if you have a car to consider). The wine here is quite good but most of all I liked our host who gave us our tasting tour. He was very enthusiastic and his passion for wine-drinking will rub off on you. You can take home your wine glass for free, but I suggest you take some bottles home with you as well. More
