Ten of us had a private tasting at Peju. It was around an hour and we all thoroughly enjoyed. The man presenting was great. He was very informational and entertaining us with songs and history. Had a very nice private air conditioned area to taste. After tasting we were allowed to stay there and eat lunch that we had brought... More

Went to peju winery for a wine tasting yesterday. Most of the wines were dry and very sweet. The only wine I actually liked was the fifty/fifty. If you like Zinfandels then I recommend going.

We dropped in to this beautiful property as a unplanned stop. While there are plenty of great wines and wineries in the area, I don't think they all have someone like Richie. He kept all of the tasters entertained and was successful in selling plenty of wine. By the end of our time there, it seemed everyone got to know... More

Peju is a great place to go for pictures. The grounds are awesome and you can find plenty of places to make group photos, etc. The actual wine tasting, as stated by many reviewers, is different from most. Similar to a restaurant on a wait, they take your name and come get you when they're ready. Depending on the day,... More

We went off our planned agenda when we found ourselves with some extra time and popped in here because it looked so inviting from the road. Were we glad we did! The tasting area is lovely as are the grounds and artwork. We had to tear ourselves away. We also enjoyed the wines and found the tasting host to be... More

Our wine guide, Alan, was so funny but super knowledgable about the wines, the family, the vineyards, etc. He is also a musician, and had some fun raps & songs about wine.It was thoroughly entertaining. Plus, the wines were delicious! We ended up joining the wine club, and purchasing 2 cases. We got one case of the Provence, which is... More

Peju was one of the few places that we went without researching first, and it wound up being a favorite. The beautiful building and interesting trees drew us in. Scott, our wine educator, was incredibly informative and just genuinely nice. We loved all the wines, a favorite being a 2007 Cab that Scott recommended. On the other end of the... More

This is a circus masquerading as a winery. If you are even remotely serious about wine, don't waste your time here. It's all about the presentation, which is...elaborate. The wines are terrible. And ridiculously expensive for the very average quality. All the money seems to be going into the property and the showmanship. It seems to attract people who go... More

Nice wines in a lovely setting. Exhibit of local artists' works. Unusual gifts and posters available. Wines are only available direct from winery. Pourer shared lots of information along with 5-6 wines. Nice experience

Our tasting host, Jeff, very informative and friendly. They make arrangements for you to taste. Walked in with no appointment. They have a nice art collection outside and inside the winery. Very conveniently located off Highway 29.
