I love wine-tasting in the Edna Valley. However, most tasting rooms have you standing at a counter. Wolff Winery has a gorgeous patio with a lovely garden up on a hill overlooking the vineyards and the Edna Valley. We brought a sack lunch from a local deli and sat outside as we tasted 6-8 wines. The wines were all wonderful,... More

Wolff Vineyards is a favorite of our-so much that we joined their wine club! It has a very laid-back atmosphere. In addition to the wonderful wines they sell, they also have a great spot outdoors to picnic with a beautiful view of the vineyards.

This small little vineyard does great red wines. The tasting room & garden are a delightful spot to gather with friends and enjoy the beautiful countryside. They have wonderful roses and flowers, and the best part about Wolff? The welcome committee - Brixie. This is a great, casual place.

We stop here every visit to SLO. A small family-run winery that produces wonderful wine. They use sustainable wine growing practices. The tasting room & outside patio overlook a panoramic view of the vineyards. The tasting room staff are always so knowledgeable, friendly and welcoming. This place is comfortable, not pretentious. We joined their club so we can enjoy their... More

Best spot for a good view of the area vines and killer wines. Try the Syrah. Also, ask about the wine club. You will not be dissappointed.

This is a very good family vineyard. The Chardonnay is superb. They sell some of their juice to Eden Vineyards in Saratoga Ca. which is also a very good winery. The small tasting room and especially the outside tables are outstanding. Views of the valley, good wine with a garden full of flowers and Hummingbirds. . . what is not... More

The tasting room is on a hill top and there is a great patio and garden with seating. The wines are superior. Both the reds and whites are really good. We like to buy some grapes and cheese and a bagget at Trader Joes and have a little picnic. Other visitors share their food also! It's amazing how many times... More

We were greeted on our drive through the vineyards by Sammi, the owner's Australian cattle dog. The tasting room is behind the family home. We were the first visitors to arrive when they opened at 11, so we were treated to a quiet seat on the patio overlooking the vineyards and hills while the owner (Nick, I believe) brought out... More

We have made a couple of stops at Wollf Vineyards. While we are red wine drinkers, they have probably one of the best dry reislings you will try. The host is knowledgable and a regular guy that you could spend the day with chatting about the wine making while you sip a nice dry reisling in the rose garden patio.... More
