Walking the length of the whart is very relaxing and gives one a great view of the shoreline. The sealions were out in abundance... very interesting to watch. Walking the whart can be different each time you go -- depending on the weather and time of day.

Santa Cruz Wharf is just a great place to take a nice walk from the beach, explore the little shops, maybe get a sidewalk shrimp cocktail, sit with a cold drink or snack at one of the several restaurants. You can hear the sea lions and even watch them napping below the wharf, watch local fishermen cast off, people fishing... More

The Santa Cruz wharf is worth the visit, there are a number of shop to purchase gifts and shirts, etc ... Also several Ice Cream and Candy shops as well. There are probably close to a dozen different places to eat on the wharf, you can also purchase fresh seafood from the outdoor fish market towards the end of the... More

this is a neat area and definitely worth the time to go visit. you should see plenty of seals when you do this visit. if you have a bike it is easy to get up and down and out without paying for parking.

You can take a sight-seeing boat, buy fresh fish, look down at noisy sea lions lounging on the pilings, and on Wednesday evenings watch sailboat races--the route swoops around the wharf. There are many good restaurants serving fresh seafood, such as Gilda's and Firefish, and shops selling resort wear, Santa Cruz sweatshirts, chocolates, seawater taffy and items made only in... More

Liked having afternoon drinks on the Wharf and watching the people fishing but 3/4's of the wharf is a paid parking lot. Such a waste of space....could be much nicer without all the cars

We looked around Santa Cruz until we found the entry to the wharf and then we slowly drove along the wharf until a parking spot magically appeared. Our cousin took us to one of her favorite spots for lunch and we enjoyed a lively time with her grandson. The grandson had to head off to find an icecream cone so... More

Fun place to stroll and visit some of the shops. Real competition for Happy Hour between the bars made it a real bargain....and made us "Happy"!
