A very scenic location in Santa Rosa with a friendly staff and excellent chef. We went for the wine and food pairing after reading the reviews on yelp. The 2 hr drive to get there was well worth it. The staff was very knowledgeable about their offerings and the selection of wines and food excellent. The wine and food pairing... More

Whether you are visiting Sonoma for the first time or have gone for years, you have to check out St. Francis. I've been vacationing in Sonoma and Napa since I was a kid but St. Francis truly stands out due to their wonderful customer service and picture perfect grounds. What a view! If you have been to Mumm and think... More

The St. Francis winery is named after St. Francis of Assisi in recognition of his love of animals and nature. Appropriate for the wine region which is dotted with small farms and vineyards. There is a charming statue of St. Francis in the front gardens for photo ops. The tasting room is located in the mission-style building with a large... More

This is one of the best wineries we visited. The place was quiet, clean and the scenery is spectacular. The wine tasting is $10 per person, although they allow you to share. You get to share up to 6 wines, from the mild ones to the stronger ones. If you buy wine for more than $50 they waive the wine... More

We had booked the food and wine pairing and it was absolutely outstanding. Five small plates with appropriate wines made for a very nice lunch. A salad, seared tuna, polenta and egg, duck and a dessert. When I booked, I let them know my husband has celiac and they did a great job of accommodating him. There were people in... More

We had been told of its beauty of taste and of view So we visited St. Francis, when out of the blue We saw a red-tiled roof and a bell tower resounding We entered the vineyard, our hearts all apounding There, in the distance, Mt. Hood in its glory The vineyards aglow, like a dramatic love story With operatic wind... More

The wines are great!! I went there for just wine tasting one day and loved the wines.....we bought 3 bottles. We went back on another day for the food and wine pairing. It was truely fabulous. The service along with the courses and wine are so worth the money. You will not be disappointed. This was definitely enough for all... More

We had an excellent wine tasting experience at St. Francis. They have excellent wines and service was top notch! Josh was our pourer. The tastings were generous and the discussions very informative.
