Ramekins came under new management several years ago and it has been transformed into a beautiful world class cooking school and small hotel. The new owners completely redid the landscaping and rooms. The new courtyard with wood burning oven is beautiful - you could be in Italy it is SO lovely. The staff is great, the location - is perfect... More

If you are a fan of cooking shows you can be a star in your own Top Chef experience at Ramekins School in Sonoma. I personally prefer the Demonstration classes. I actually learn more than doing a hands on class. When I can sit in the evening and watch a meal come together prepared by a top chef I can... More

We loved our visit to Ramekins Culinary School. The setting is ja Tucsan style Villa and the experience was highly professional and fun!.We learned how to prepare a fabulous meal with the experts and then had a wonderful dining experience paired with the best wines. This was the perfect way to spend an evening in Sonoma and well worth the... More

My work group of ten were led by the fabulous Lisa to prepare a delicious meal in a gorgeous setting. From start to finish - we had a wonderful time. John and LIsa took outstanding care of us. It was a very, unique team building. You can not go wrong booking this for a small work group team building!

We had my uncle and aunt's rehearsal dinner here and the atmosphere is awesome! They have an amazing outdoor area with a massive fireplace. The whole place is so cute and the food was so good. The pizzas in particular were spectacular. Great staff, very friendly.

My friend and I did a hands on cooking class--all about bacon, yum! We cooked four dishes and ate them with our 13 classmates. We met fun people, ate good food and learned cooking techniques. We were one of two groups staying over in the fabulous B&B upstairs. Everyone else was regretting having to drive at 10:00 pm when we... More

I attended my first cooking class at Ramekins in early December 2011. I had high hopes and expectations. I was, unfortunately disappointed. I should say that I have attended about 4 different cooking classes over the past few years, and would consider myself a good cook who is always looking to improve my skills. The school has excellent facilities, but... More

My husband had no interest in wine tasting, but I wanted a weekend away in wine country, so we took a saturday mid day mexican cooking class instead. You can be more involved or less involved depending on how motivated you are, since it's a large group all cooking a few dishes. Our instructor was an incredibly nice guy, not... More

We went to Ramekins as part of a group excursion (there were 20 of us). Whilst a number of the ladies in our group began the evening a bit reluctant (we are on holiday, we are not supposed to be cooking!) we all finished the evening raving about the experience. The opportunity to work in a "real" kitchen with three... More
