Great ride, and guides. The horses were fine for most part. We missed a bull moose by an hour, unfortunately. The previous tour got to see it.. We really enjoyed it, though my wife would have liked a more tame horse.
We visited this site because we had a very eager young rider in our family. It was her first time on a horse, but the staff did a great job of making her feel confident and at ease while keeping an eye on her. Our wrangler, Dale, was very knowledgeable and pleasant. Nice scenery, well-trained and well-treated horses; a good... More
I can't say enough good things about our guides. The problem was that they were asked to do too much. We had very young riders who need a lot of help and they were spread too thin. Several times someone needed help and the guides couldn't get to them or were busy trying to help someone else. As we were... More
This was fun for the grand kids but there is no allowance for weather. Some people and companies allow for acts of God when considering their services. This is not one. Plan for he trip early to stay away from forenoon showers.
Expected a great time, but met with disappointment! A group of us arrived due to advertising on Groupon. Well, our Groupon had expired. That's ok, that's not my problem with this place. After all, that's our fault. What I do have a problem with is the smile and delight they had on their face gleefully informing us it was expired.... More
We do not visit Breckenridge often, but will definitely return to do this ride again. I live in Colorado, and have been around horses (owning, showing and now leasing at a ranch here in the Springs) my whole life. My nephew and his wife have only ever ridden about 3 times in their lives - we were a diverse group... More
I went on a private ride with our guide Willow and my wife and daughter. We were fitted on 2 awesome draft horses, Blondie and CJ, and Dakota, a quarter horse for my daughter. Our guide told us all about Aspen trees and the beetles attacking the pines. The view was spectacular. I loved everything about this place, they treated... More
My family. . 2 teens enjoyed the ride. We took the 1 1/2 hour ride. As typical horse rides go, it is slow. The horses have memorized the routes. We only needed to pull when they were not following, which did not happen much and not to all horses. No need to know how to command the horse. The wrangler,... More
Me and my partner went on the 90 min trail ride with dinner afterwards. Having never rode a horse before it was obvious the animals were well trained and instruction was always given if you needed any help so great for young kids! The downside to this trip was that the group was rather large and nobody was giving a... More
