We had never gone skiing out west before and we chose Breckenridge because there was a Hilton nearby (Hilton points). We LOVED Breck. It was so great. From our hotel we were able to walk to the chairlift at the bottom of Peak 9. Our first day, the snow conditions were very similar to Minnesota. Icy. Hard. Not what we... More

I recently reserved lodging at Breckenridge, and TravelGuard travel insurance was included as part of the reservation. I thought this was good news when I had to cancel my trip for reasons out of my control, but I was wrong. It turns, the reason I had to cancel my trip was not covered by the insurance policy (this was buried... More

We rented a large house for the 12 of us. It was located along the very convenient bus route. Stop for the bus was at the gondola and it was a quick easy ride up to the mountain. The main strip in town is very cute. We had some issues going to restaurants since we were a large group and... More

Late Spring Beeak trip with the family and the snow was ideal. Dumped a solid foot twice during our stay. All slopes were open and the base only got mushy 1 day. Excellent apres ski at the bottom of the slopes, catching rays, sipping beers and watching kids build snowmen...

I had a blast spending an entire day wearing out my quads on this mountain! I would love to go back.

We really enjoyed our visit to Breckenridge mountain. Last year, we were at Keystone, and did enjoy that as well, but Breck has much better greens for beginners. My girls are only skiing for their second time, and they navigated the slopes a lot better here. The runs are wider and not as steep, but yet, challenging enough for my... More

Not so good: I was there during Denver's university's vacations. Just a few of these young fellows don't know how to behave; cutting in front of everybody in the terrain park, skiing straight down on the groomed runs, even the blue or green ones, but they are a real pain. That's to be expected but nobody tells them anything. It's... More

We came for the last weekend of skiing and got a foot of fresh powder as a reward! The mountain was empty - NO lift lines whatsoever on either day. Everything worked well, the staff were lovely and the mountain is gorgeous. no matter what you want - bunny slopes, trees, terrain parks, groomed blues or giant double x bowls,... More

Breckenridge is a very large ski resort with the addition of peak 6 in the coming years it will be even bigger. Since its the closest big mountain to Denver I would never ski here on a weekend, lift lines are ridiculous. Breck is owned by Vail Resorts, you get this corporate feel when there, not the small mountain friendly... More
