Hard to objective about your favorite. But here goes. Copper has naturally divided terrain for differing abilities, and easy access to the entire mountain Surprisingly reasonable prices for surprisingly good food at Jacks and the Grand Hall. Predictable on mountain food at timberline and solitude Great instructors too.

Liftopia ticket was $63 a week in advance. 13" inches of snow the prior day. Staff is amongst friendliest i have been to in the area. Will not find a better value on liftopia for surrounding area. You can always find great deals for Copper. About 15 minutes from dillon. Whole mountain flows well together. Bowls are great and have... More

We were in Frisco and tried many of the ski resorts in summit county and Vail. To our surprise, our favorite turned out to be Copper Mountain. Runs: There are lots of runs. The runs are varied. They tend to be easier on one side of the mountain and more difficult the farther East you go. There is also a... More

The lodge in West Village was not crowded and made it easy to "set up camp" as kids came/went on their own schedule. Food prices high but to be expected at a resort facility. BOOK YOUR TICKETS ON LINE BEFORE HAND AND GET THE 4 PACK IF YOU ARE THERE ENOUGH DAYS!!

Copper mountain seems to have almost anything you can ask for from a ski area. It's huge, terrain is varied, more than ample black diamond runs, cornices that enter into a bowl, it's all good. It would be nice to see more tree guns (keystone has the best, vail is okay as well for those) and truly extreme runs (Jackson... More

The mountain is extremely well-organized with good signage and wide open trails. The resort is quite large with trails to accommodate all types of skiers. Many groomed trails. I stayed on the greens and blues, and I enjoyed myself but I can't say that I was surprised by anything. Very pretty location with great views of the Rockies. The worst... More

Copper seemed like a step above a local spot. The service was ok but the skiing was great. It snowed 12' one day we were there. The layout of the mountain helps keep people safe by segregating into green, blue, black from left to right. The ski school was ok, but I used it more for daycare anyhow. Cache condominium... More

Love the mountain but it's getting too expensive. My two sons are 8 and 11. They were each $65.00 a day. Come on! My 8 year old was tired by 1:00. The youth is the future of the sport. Still love it just too expensive for kids.

Made a trip to copper with some friends. We have never skiied here but were pleasantly surprised. Everything is pretty organised and you drive into several parking lots, some of which are free. various shuttles ferry people to different areas of the mountain. It is easy to work out which shuttle to be on as sinage is quite good. We... More
