Not too much to tire you out, take a break from life and visit the Museum. Bring along the kids, or go with some friends. A photographer friendly place as well.
Our family loves to visit LHM, and I've been going since I was a little girl. They always have great activities at the farm for kids and its a great outdoor activity. The best time to go is in the Spring if you want to spend your time wandering around the farm house, school house, blacksmith's and farm yard. Or,...

What a fun, free place to take yourself or a child you love. There are farm houses from the 1860s and 1890s as well as Littleton's first one room schoolhouse. My husband and I are members and enjoy their Halloween and Christmas evening events.
We have been visiting this wonderul piece of history for over 30 years. We have raised our children, grandchildren and other's children here. It is such a special place to get the kids out in the fresh air.

This features dioramas, displays of equipment, books, etc. There are meeting rooms and a geneological library. Outside are working farms, one from ca. 1860 and one from 1890, both farmhouse moved from Littleton...

We went in the fall for the festival. There were many activities, animals and pumpkins to be selected. We had a great time. It was busy. We will be returning in the summer.
This a facinating look back in time with live animals, two homes and people dressed in character. I go at least once a year and its always a stop when we have visitors.
Great activity for families and for children of all ages. Can see everything in 1-2 hrs. Nice visitor center. Very informative.
