I loved that I could hop on and off the gondola for FREE! Could hike up or down, visit the Telluride village, and return to town...FREE, FREE, FREE!!!! Views great, though after seeing the airport from the top, not sure I'd ever fly into Telluride!!!

This form of transportation is genius! The gondola stations are conveniently located throughout Mountain Village and Telluride and most importantly it's FREE!

WOW - What a gorgeous view and fun ride! Everyone that works for the gondola at all stops were very friendly! We rode the gondola for our wedding at the San Sophia Overlook and the staff slowed the gondola down (without disrupting everyone else's ride) while we put the "just married" sign on the back. They also cleaned the seats...

The gondola goes from downtown Telluride over to the Mountain village. It is free and runs all day until midnight. They allow you to take your pets and your bikes on the gondola as well so you can go back and forth without any hassle.

What is better than looking at beautiful scenery while riding a Gondola from lodging to town? During the day you see snow caped mountains, wild life, and Aspens and during the evening you see the twinkling lights of the fairy tale town of Telluride.

Free is always good and the free gondola in Telluride is the best bargain in town. We rode the gondola twice during our overnight stay in Telluride. The views are unbeatable! Plan to do this when you are in Telluride!!!!
