Telluride town park is a great place to hike, but there are always concerts, and festivals going on.... it is less a park, and more a venue.

My kids wanted to go there every day and play. The ducks in the pond are very friendly and the playground area was wonderful for younger kids.

This is a nice place for a stroll. I went during the Blues and Brews Fest so it was taken over but the views of the mountains are amazing. You can also park here for free.

This festival held in Town Park each September is one of the best events like this I have ever attended. The bands were all good and the beer tasting with over 50 regional microbrewers was a blast. Probably not really kid friendly however due to the alcohol and some marijuana being smoked in the crowd. They do have some attractions... More

We walked the river trail to the park and found it to be a lovely spot to rest and enjoy the cooling temperatures. The ducks in the pond kept us company. This park was very clean and is a perfect place for anyone wanting to spend a little time outdoors.

So we ended up here by following the fabulous trail and were pleased. It was clean and there were people enjoying several kinds of activities throughout the park. There was everything from kids riding their bikes to fishing in the lake to folks playing guitar together. Nice community atmosphere.

A great place to have your lunch from Brown Bag. My daughter ran into a girl she went to elementary school with in Cary, NC. Just a fun place to be.

The park has a nice layout with two large play ground areas. They both are well shaded and have a variety of equipment. All ages can be entertained for at least an hour or two.
